It all started with an innocent vacation to a beautiful wonderland called Patrick's Point, which is on the Pacific Coast of Northern California, in the mid-summer of 1996. Many of you may be familiar with Patrick's Point.....this is where they filmed much of the movie Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park: The Lost World. (we were actually there during the second filming) Yes, all of that beautiful Jurassic age scenery actually still does exist here. It is an awesome Pagan getaway featuring 300 ft tall redwoods, raccoons that visit you nightly in your campsite, roaming and FRIENDLY skunks, blue jays, sea lions within about 50 ft, loads of huge blackberries, and never ending ocean. On our way home we stopped at "The Trinidad Trading Co." in Trinadad, CA......a town of about 360 people and beautiful ocean views. This store just so happens to follow the light of the Goddess, so MoonRaven was going to pick-up a few "staple items" like spell candles. While perusing the cute little store and interacting with the store owners, MoonRaven and I came to a rather startling conclusion. We could NOT sell wholesale runes. No way, no how. ( and we still ended up selling wholesale ;> ) Oh, and by the way, we still return to Patrick's point about 3-4 times a year to gather stones for our customers. This last trip we gathered some very unique Jasper with Apple Green and Red in each piece, rare (from what we have heard) yellow / orange / black / white / pink design Jasper (And those colors are in each piece), secured a new line of hand made bath soaps, and secured a new line of mini-Chakra candles.
We do not want to be the big corporate giant on the block. No. We would much rather have you consider us your personal supplier. To be there when you need something. To be able to openly answer your questions. To be able to offer you personalized service. Unlike most of the Earth Religion Supply stores, we stock in our store all of the products that we carry. We do not want you to have to wait weeks before receiving your product. Many stores did that to us in the past...so we know how that feels. Under most circumstances, your order will be shipped to you within 24 hours. We are attempting to offer many products that many other Earth Religion stores do not offer in their catalogues. We offer many unique items, along with the regular Earth Religion staples. If you do not see it in our catalogue, the chances are that we have yet to find that item in the high quality that we desire or we have had no requests for that item. By all means, though, certainly request items if you do not see them. The chances are we can get it for you. We currently have over 20 wholesale distributers that we buy from, and are adding new ones every month. We personally view, test, and, yes, dream about purchasing, every one of our thousands of products. Not many stores do this. It gives you, the customer, an advantage over others. For example, I was bagging up some new Green Garnet crystals the other evening, when I stumbled upon a little discovery. Did you ever think that garnet, famous for love and protection, could be highly soothing, stress relieving, and pain relieving? Well, try rolling one of these little Garnet Crystals around between your fingers and you will start to feel the stress just flying out of your body. We are studying Wiccans and Shamans. We are not just people who were hired to answer a phone. We certainly do not know everything, nor will we ever, but we are always willing to help answer your questions. If we do not know the answer, then we will try to find it out for you. Many items in our catalogue are hand-made by us, including our oil line, a lot of jewelry, certain ritual tools, and other things. True Earth Religion followers making products with you in mind. Now doesn't that sound better than a machine. For example, MoonRaven personally hand blesses every single Full Moon Blessed Oil out on our patio under the full moon, dipping them in water, and salt, running them over a candle flame, and through incense smoke to signify air. ( and she is so cute when she does it too :> ) We also have a rabbit (Velvet Streak) and a cat (Sprinkles) who sometime ritually bless (by chewing) some of our products. Those, unfortunately, we cannot sell !!! We also have a half-cat (full cat, half ours), Peaches, or "hey you look out", who loves to get under the wheels of the computer chair. If you ever call for one of MoonRaven's Tarot readings, you will probably hear Sprinkles in the background because she always comes around when she hears the Tarot cards being shuffled. All of that, and at reasonable prices....many of the times, our prices are lower than anyone else. Why? Because we have no need to " rip you off ". We enjoy being your friends way too much for that . In the end, I hope that you will come to think of MoonRaven and I as Uncle Chris and Aunt Kim. Those relatives that live in a far off land. The ones that you can call upon to send you interesting things and get friendly advice and information from. ( don't worry....we will call first before showing up for dinner :> )
